Heart

Heart

God loves you and wants to have a close relationship with you. God has a perfect plan for your life and you are important to him. His love for you is boundless and unconditional. No matter what you have done in your life, God will never stop loving you.

But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. (Romans 5,8)

Sin

Sin

Maybe you are asking the question: Why can’t I feel God in my life, if I am important to him? Unfortunately we are separated from God’s love by something the Bible calls sin. People started living without God and did not respect his rules. Sin destroys our relationships with friends, with family, and most importantly with God himself.

For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. (Romans 3,23).

The Cross

The Cross

Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came to this earth in order to pay for all of our transgressions with his own life. Through his sacrifice on the cross he took upon himself the punishment for sins that we should have received, and made it possible for us to renew our relationship with God. We can now experience God’s love for us anew.

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 6,23)

A Question Mark

A Question Mark

Maybe you are asking yourself the question: What’s next? What should I do about this? Jesus gave his life for yours in order to show you how important you are for him and how much he loves you. The next step is up to you. All you need to do is to personally ask God to forgive you for all of the evil things you have done and ask him to help you live with him.

If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved. (Romans 10, 9-10)
