In our world, practically everything is evidence-based. If there is some exact scientific evidence with which you can prove something, you prove it. In any case, in our lives, there are a number of things that we can’t prove and where science fails.

We can imagine this very simply. For example, when your wife bakes a cake for you, a scientist comes, e.g. a chemist, and finds out what chemical substances are contained in the cake. Then a physicist comes, measures the cake, weighs it, and all of these are scientific evidence, but neither the chemist nor the physicist can tell you why your wife baked the cake for you.

I have always been fascinated by science since my childhood years. My favorite subject was mathematics. Some of my friends may have liked PE or art lessons. I enjoyed maths the most and have always been interested in how things work. I liked to dismantle things and play with them. Therefore, my focus was finally directed to technology. I began studying at a technical university where I chose Automation Management as a branch, which was a combination of robotics, programming, electronics, and I have stayed in this field practically until today. I really like to design new algorithms, which can help us recognize different signals, and I love teaching a lot because I like to pass on the scientific knowledge I gain to students.

One day in front of our university, two men were handing out small Bibles. They didn’t impose themselves on anyone. In any case, I was happy to take the Bible from them because I wanted to read what the whole story of Jesus is about. I had always thought the story of Jesus and how he was raised from the dead was a fairytale.

I wanted to read the Bible mainly so that I could talk with other Christians, because when you want to debate with someone, it is necessary to have all the information.

At the moment I began to read the Bible, I found out very quickly that the story in the Bible is totally different from what I had thought. I began to find out it has a very logical structure and it’s not just a fairytale, that God is totally different from what I ever imagined. I also found out that Jesus was in this world for totally different reasons than I had originally thought.

I was surprised how kind he is and how different he is from how I defined him,  and I began to seek Him. At the moment I decided to rally seek him, I was completely transformed inside. At that moment, it was as if I was struck by lightning. When you’re struck by lightning you feel extreme pain. Of course in my case, it was not so. On the contrary, I was struck by absolute peace and rest. Since that moment, I have known, known with a capital K, that God really exists.

Sometimes people think science and faith can’t exist together. In any case, today there is a whole range of excellent scientists who have reached the edge of their research and found out there is really something more.

That all the world systems, whether physics, chemistry, or biology, are so complicated, complex and intelligently created that behind this intelligent design, there must definitely be an intelligent creator.

For me, personally, this intelligent creator is our God, Jesus Christ. People don’t have to be scientists to find out if God exists or not. In any case, every one of us has the ability to look around and see the incredible diversity of life that is around us and how it can’t be practically explained by science. I know God exists, and on the other hand, I surely know a person can only get to know God at the moment he seeks Him. I began to seek God myself. I found him, and the same thing can also happen to you.
